Now that Amy Poehler has announced that she and Will Arnett
are ending their marriage, that must mean it's time for all interested
talk show hosts to make their move? At least, that's what David
Letterman seemed to believe on Tuesday's night "Late Show," when he
swooped in and gave Poehler a smooch.
When Letterman scooted closer to Poehler so they could watch a clip of her in action on "Parks & Recreation," she seemed a little surprised at his movements.
"Oh, I thought you were going to go in for a kiss," Poehler said with
a laugh. Then, as if it were an invitation, Letterman grabbed Poehler
and kissed her.
Poehler had better be careful, now, or all of the other late night
hosts will be pounding back breath mints after booking her on their
shows and planning their move. The perils of being a beautiful, funny
single woman in the spotlight!
Watch Amy Poehler on "Parks & Recreation," Thursdays at 9:30
p.m. ET on NBC. Then flip over to CBS for "Late Show with David
Letterman" every weeknight at 11:35 p.m. ET.
